Nathaniel Meadow will be graduating with a joint Medical and Public Health degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in May of 2017.  As a member of the Urban Medicine Program at UIC he began working with the community partner El Rescate to improve the options available to LGBTQ homeless young adults in Humboldt Park.  After witnessing the influence legislative decisions had on not-for-profit institutions like El Rescate, he got more involved with local politics to better defend and expand rights and benefits for oppressed communities, which brought him to Men 4 Choice.  After graduation, Nathaniel will continue this work as a resident physician and look for more opportunities to improve the local and larger community.
