Ariana Taylor is a southside Chicago Native, and a 2015 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where she earned a B.A. in Communication with a minor in African American Studies. During her undergraduate career, Ariana fought for equal treatment of students of color and other underrepresented groups and found her passion for social justice and activism. Ariana helped lead the Being Black at Illinois movement as well as the Black Lives Matter campus efforts. In addition she sat on the chancellor’s committee for LGBTQ rights. Ariana most recently worked as a summer associate at The Greenlining Institute, where she worked to bridge the gap between marginalized communities and the technology sector. She is currently in her first year of law school at Howard University School of Law.
